Rubber 400-meter track 1/4” spikes or sneakers; Only (an inspection will be made) eight (8) lanes

Kids: $5 per day(Child 1-5 years old ) Kids:$7 (Child 6 and above)

Adults: $10 per day

2021 Age Classifications:

Athletes who will turn 19 after July 31, 2021, are eligible to compete in Young Men/Young Women

      8 & U            9 -10          11 – 12       

2008 and below, 2007-2006, 2003-2002

    13 – 14       15 – 16       17 - 18      19 – 99  

 2005-2004, 2001-2000, 1999-1998, 1997+

 

All Masters Athletes will compete together but will be awarded in 10 year age group increments

(30-39 / 40-49/ 50-59/ 60-69/ 70+.)

 

Awards

Medals:

1st-3rd places including relays.

Trophies:

MVP each age group male/female

Timing Services Provided by:

Smart Timing

Scoring:

No points will be scored

Baton: Please do not send your team to the Clerk of the Course with a Baton. Batons will be provided by the Host.

Blocks: All blocks are provided by the Host. Personal blocks are not allowed.

 

Event Limitations:

8 & U, 9-10, 11 – 12: Unlimited entries

13 – 14, 15-16, 17-18: Unlimited Entries

19+: Unlimited

Refreshments: Concession Stands are located throughout the stadium. No alcoholic beverages are allowed.

All concession rights belong to the host team!

Tents/Canopies are permitted only at the top/back of the stadium. The tents rule will be strictly enforced by Police and Security.

Coaches & Team Area: Coaches & parents and athletes who are not competing in an event must stay off the infield. No warming up on the field. Failure to comply with this policy will result in the disqualification of the team from the competition. This policy will be strictly enforced. The warm-up area is located on the west side in front of the stadium.

 

Coaches Pass Allocations:

1 - 5 Athletes: 1 Pass

6 – 10 Athletes: 2 Passes

11 – 15 Athletes: 3 Passes

16 – 20 Athletes: 4 Passes

21 – 25 Athletes: 5 Passes

26+ Athletes This formula continues….

 

Athletes:

Must wear their competition number in front of their uniform when competing in a running/field event. The Athlete will not be allowed to compete without his/her assigned number.

 

Two Minute Rule: In all field events, each athlete has two minutes to complete an attempt once called up by field judge. Failure to attempt in two (2) minutes will result in a miss or a scratch at the effort. This rule will be strictly enforced.

Starting Heights for High Jump

9 – 10    3’0”                        11 - 12 3’5”

13 - 14   4’0”                        15 – 16 5’0”

17 - 18   5’8”                        19 - 29 5’10”

 

All Athletes must check-in 30 minutes before the start of their event.

Athletes having conflict should notify the Clerk or Judge when checking in. Running events take precedence over field events. When leaving a running event, an athlete is allowed a maximum of 10 minutes to participate in their field event.

Thank you for being a part of the 2021 Atlanta Georgia Relays. This meet is GUARANTEED to bring out fast times in our youth/open/masters athletes in the Southeast Region. This meet is an international meet consisting of the top youth athletes in the Caribbean (Jamaica, Bahamas, and Trinidad and Tobago) going against the top Athletes from Georgia, Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee.

We are in the process of finalizing our plans for the  Atlanta Georgia Relays which is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, May 29 -30, 2021 at Union Grove High School.

We are encouraging everyone to abide by the meet rules. Please remain in the stands during the competition and keep your athletes in the stands, unless they are preparing for the upcoming event.

Gate Opens: it’s now a two day meet May 29 -30

7:30 am and competition begins at 9 am (Daily)

Media:
A full media complement, including professional photographers and international news outlets, and USA Media, will be onsite during the AGR Event.
Images captured at the event may appear on the AGR and or international media and social media sites. They may be used for promotional purposes by AGR by entering or being a part of the meet.
 
Transportation:
Should athletes, coaches, parents, or staff take the AGR (Atlanta Georgia Relays) transportation (if provided), it will be at your own risk. AGR and the Atlanta Spartans staff/members will not be held responsible for damages and or injuries.
